In this film, the title sequence gives a lot of clues and foreshadows to the audience. This means that it will keep the audience interested and looking forward to what is coming throughout the rest of the film. It contains a lot of short clips of scenes which appear later on in the film but not enough that the audience knows completely what is going on. This leaves mystery and keeps the audience wanting to know more. The title sequence has the iconic Mission Impossible theme which embodies energy and thrilling mystery. It is also very catchy and quite fast paced which will create excitement and will leave the audience thrilled and eager. The camera follows a lit fuse which goes through different settings and locations which gives the audience an idea of the different places that show up in the film later on. The titles used are big, bold white text. My guess for using this type of font and text is because they don't want the audience to get distracted by the titles and miss out on the clues in the background. There is a lot of action going on in the background which should grasp the audiences attention, and just to ensure that their undivided attention is on that, they use a standard font and text. The only title which is different and interesting is the name of the film which is bold and in capitals. It also is written in flames and sparks are flying out of it. This title is on a black background which makes it stand out and makes the audience remember it. You can definitely tell which genre this film is by the title sequence as it contains a lot of action based shots. For example, it contains fighting, jumping off things, firing guns, fast cars et cetera. The title sequence is very fast paced and quite intense.
