The role of social media ; Twitter played a big part in advertising as the revolver entertainment company had their own twitter account to publicise it.

The film was promoted through the use of billboards across the capital of the uk .

Newspaper were clearly starting to take note of the amount of urban British films being produced but it seemed that ill manors was the main one that highlighted the darkness of teen lives that any young people are experiencing which is failed to be realised or acknowledged by most people, they become so oblivious to the younger generation it takes a film to raise awareness.
Available on DVD,Blu-ray DVD and print.

Budget
£100,000 (estimated)

Synergous links - throughout the production of directer and producer Plan b's film (ill manors) his album and soundtrack was also publicised and profited from this too .

I think this distributor is more than likely to distribute our film as it attracts a similar audience .

Task 30: Settings and locations by Le-Sian Areola

Location Location 1; block of flats on city road ( approximately a 2 minute walk from candi college) finding and planning locations and settings.

We might see this in the title sequence as it will give the viewers a glimpse of what our film is about ,

the setting of a film is usually important you can jist the theme and genre which for our group is a British crime drama involving a gang of girls.

Location 2;

On board a busy bus 205 towards shoreditch

Our title sequence will be showing the lifestyle of young teenage girls in gangs in London public transport is a huge part of this furthermore the bus being shown as a flash scene or shot adds to the British persona of the title sequence.

Location 3; Owens field park situated right next to candi college.

Teenagers are usually associated with gangs , violence and hanging about our title sequence concentrates on portraying that rawness and real news of the lifestyles that many young people are having to or see themselves as having to live or be a trapped in today's society , Owens field is quite a sociable area and gives us an insight into the stereotypical bird view of the teenage generation of today .

Location 4;

 chicken and chip shop (chicken cottage) on Islington street
For similar reasons as owe fields the chicken shop is where action in our film sequence will take place

Task 29: Sound Effects

In order to further appreciate and understand the importance of sound in film we attempted to create our own sound effects by using different things around the college.

The order of the sound effects:
  1. Microwave bleeping
  2. A fridge closing
  3. Chairs scraping on the floor
  4. The Muffled sound of talking
  5. A door opening
  6. A bathroom
  7. Footsteps
Our biggest struggles were getting close enough to the action to record the sound effects clearly and getting far enough from the other unwanted noises so that the sound effects weren't drowned out.

Pitch ) Sound

We are going to be using diegetic sounds such as:

Footsteps walking/running
Police sirens or police officers being told about another day
Traffic

We will use non-diegetic sounds to add dramatic affect with her group

Task 27: Audience Research Task

Task 26: Target Audience

plan;

As we are still planning for our title sequence we have decided it will be roughly aimed at teenage girls of the same age group as us so we can easily relate to them and engage with them through our title sequence.

films like ;

  • mean girls
  • freaky friday
  • legally blonde

Task 24: Individual Ideas

Genre: British Crime Drama

Location: For a title sequence of this genre I would set the majority of it on the streets of East
London, using locations like dark alleyways, tunnels and estates. I would also have some clips filmed around the landmarks in Central London so that it is clear to the audience where the film is set.

Costumes: I would have the characters in the title sequence dressed casually so they look relaxed. I would have some of the male extras dressed in dark coloured hooded tops and baseball caps, the women being dressed similarly but making their clothes more fitted so that they look more feminine and attract the male gaze whilst conforming to the stereotypes of how young people dress in London.

Lighting: For the lighting in my title sequence I would film in the few hours where the sun is going down to get that cool blue feel so that a sense of isolation is implanted therefore setting the tone of the film. I would also use a tungsten lights in some shots in order to enhance the orangey colour of the street lights.

Shots: I would use a range of different shot types focussing on close-ups, mid shots and wide shots. Including a few establishing shots to show the audience the surroundings allowing them to figure out where the film is set.

Cuts: To create the feeling of a British Crime Drama I would use face paced straight cuts. I would do this so that the genre is revealed to the audience and the pace of the film is set.

Credits: For the credits of the title sequence I would have a fairly plain text like  ARIAL or COURIER.  I would also have the text in capital letters and colour it white as a contrast to the darker colours in the background. I would have the text in a central position on the screen .
